Zavvi was born in 2007, but many people will be more familiar with the company that it came out of – Virgin Megastores. Initially, Zavvi began as a high street retail company, but has since left its bricks and mortar stores. Nowadays, the firm operates an online retail business via www.zavvi.com and is a subsidiary of The Hut Group.
